Joe Sakic card #278 1997-98 SPx #12

  • Almost looks like a smear on the right hand side of the card, over Joe's left shoulder.  It's invisible on the card when in hand.  
  • It's amazing how the card is silver foil, but the silver scans blue.  It looks better to me on the scan than it does in hand, smear aside.
  • Bio on the back:  "...Colorado's captain heads into 1997-98 needing 126 points to pass Michel Goulet for 2nd on the franchise's all time scoring list."  I guess we all know how that turned out.

    That design was so innovative but they chip easily. I don't have any of the NHL set yet, though, maybe they are better?
