- The card is very glossy, but I was surprised at how bright it scanned. The bottom of the card looks worse on the scan than in hand, as the brown bar looks a bit like a glove.
- Bio on the back: "Ranks fifth among actives with .410 OBP." That's quite a number indeed, would love to know the four that ranked ahead of him at the time.
- Career home run #262 came off of the White Sox' Sean Lowe, 7/19/01. It was his 2nd in as many days, a solo shot that put the Indians ahead 4-0 on their way to a 10-3 victory. Dave Burba won his 9th game, not bad despite having an ERA of 6.01 after this start.
