Brett Lawrie card #28 2012 Bowman Chrome #30

• Happy 4th of July to everyone out there that stops by!!
• Picked this card up recently as part of the spring cleaning sale at COMC.  It doesn't get much cheaper than the 37 cents I paid for this one.
• The 1st round class of 2008 (that Brett was a part of at #16) has become a pretty good crop of major leaguers.   Nothing earth shattering, but a lot of good players.  Buster Posey is easily the best of the group so far, with Eric Hosmer a close second.   Gerrit Cole was also drafted in the 1st rd of the '08 draft by the Yankees at #28, but chose to go to college, and 4 years later the Pirates took him #1 overall.
