- Was a bit surprised to find when I pulled this card out of the binder page that a bit of warping had started. This isn't Topps Chrome!
- The background design reminds me of someone spilling water on a card (or a countertop, take your pick). Wonder why UD chose to use the night vision green on the circle insert of the front.
- Career homer #198 was hit 4/7/00, off of former Blue Jay Juan Guzman who was pitching at that time for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The Indians were already up 7-1 when Thome hit his solo shot, and the Tribe would cruise to an easy 14-5 victory.
