Joe Sakic card #40 1992-93 OPC Premier Star Performers #11

 

• I had no recollection of Tim Hunter ever playing for the Nordiques so I had to look it up.  Sure enough, he played 48 games for the Nords in 92-93 before being claimed on waivers by the Canucks.
• I never noticed until now the blurriness on the card by Joe's left arm.  Curious as to why OPC left the card that way.
• There are 22 star performers cards listed for this insert set, Joe's card is the 2nd most expensive behind Mario Lemieux.  Interesting that he's an insert, but not in the base set.
