Jim Thome card #30 1994 Bowman # 338

• The card did not scan very well to say the least.  The foil had a lot to do with that.  The background of the lower portion of this card is green.
• I don't remember there being a particular reason that the MLB logo was on the player's uniforms back then.  I thought it might have been to honor the death of former commissioner Bart Giamatti, but that was back in '89, long before this photo was taken.
• Hunting around I found this article about the 5 top Cleveland Indians players since 1990.  Thome was listed as 2nd behind Omar Vizquel.  I can live with that assessment...
