- You can't see me. Don't recall ever seeing a card of any player, let alone Thome, where his face is almost totally obscured by his glove.
- Final post of September, and with the Lawrie and McCutchen collections being complete, I've kind of slowed a bit with only 33 posts this month. Need 120 posts over the final 3 months to keep pace with 2016. Chances are that will not happen.
- Bio on the back: "finished 2nd in the All-Star Game's home run derby in 1998." The winner that year was Ken Griffey Jr., with a total of just 19 homers over 3 rounds in Coors Field.
