- I don't know why it surprises me, but there have been a lot of cards that feature foil on the front lately. I think I prefer a standard foil free front, call me old-fashioned if you must.
- Career Homer #149 came against the Pirates Chris Peters, 6/8/98. The 3 run shot broke a scoreless tie and propelled the Indians to an 8-0 whitewash of the North Siders. Bartolo Colon (!) threw 96 pitches and gave up just 4 hits for the shutout.
