Jim Thome card #180 1999 Fleer Tradition #45

• Fleer provides something different than the basic photos of Thome swinging a bat.  In the dugout drinking a bottle of water on a hot day provides a nice change from the norm.
• Had to do a little digging, but I believe that the person in behind Jim is coach Jeff Newman, who wore #55 during the 1998 season.
• Fleer in my opinion did it right with this card and its parallel (which I'll post later today).  The backs are different, and have different bios of Jim, making them unique.   Well done Fleer!
• Bio on the back:  Jim was the first left handed hitter to hit 30+ HR for 3 straight seasons in Cleveland.
