Jim Thome card #168 1999 Bowman International #221

• I actually enhanced the brightness setting after scanning the card so you could actually see something in the background.  
• Bio on the back:  "SKILLS:  Strong as an ox...Launches low fast balls deep into the night...Tremendous batting eye."  OK then
• Career homer #168 was hit 17 days after his last one, 5/16/99 off of Detroit's Masao Kida.  This was a case of too little, too late, as the Indians were down 9-2 in the 9th at the time.  Detroit won 9-3 on the back of Jeff Weaver's 6 innings and Kida's 3 inning save.
