- Card #120 for McCutchen on the blog, I have 294 listed on the TCDB website on this collection. Lots of writing material
- That is one baggy uniform; that and the photo make it somewhat difficult to tell that it's Cutch making solid connection with the ball.
- Once again I've caught up; all the McCutchen cards that I have for my collection have been posted to the blog.
- Love the teal parallels, this one is serial #'d 14/199.
- Market Watch: Just one copy of this version on sale right now, listed at 95 cents (52% off for the summer sale). If I didn't have one already I'd jump on that price. There's a copy on ebay right now that's showing a BIN of $6.95.
- Still have yet to get a McCutchen card featuring him in a Giants uniform. Maybe down the road I'll hunt for one of those.

- It's funny what you can find when you dig through piles and piles of cards. This was one of approximately 10 PC cards I found on a recent dig.
- The 2011 set is probably my favorite design so far this decade. It just appeals to me more than all of the other sets over the past 8 years.
- Market watch: 21 copies currently on COMC, ranging from 44 cents to $1.05. Not bad really, no cards with outlandish prices...
- I'm sure Cutch is glad that July is gone. .227 average with 2 HR and 7 RBI for the month isn't going to cut it...

- Market Watch: 3 copies currently on COMC, ranging from 84 cents to $1.10. Not bad.
- August is coming, time for Andrew to get hot. Would love to see him go on a run and get his 1600th career hit before the 31st of August. He needs 41.

- Must be the scanner: The purple is much more vibrant in hand than on the scan. Still looks great either way.
- If these purple refractors were numbered, I'd be in trouble. I'd want to chase them all down.
- COMC price range: 55 cents (cheap) at the low end, $2.25 at the high end (not too bad). I'm just glad to have it in my hands.
- Andrew is just 59 hits shy of 1500. 29 more extra base hits will give him 600 for his career. There's a chance that he hits both milestones this season.

- I'm not actively seeking out new Cutch cards, but I do find one every now and then. I picked this up on Twitter for a buck.
- Panini didn't have to do a lot of airbrushing on this card. The 3rd jersey only has the gold P and the players number on the front. Quick and easy.
- As of this writing, Andrew is just 64 hits to 1600. Staying healthy and with reasonable production, he should hit #2000 sometime in 2021.

- This is a great looking card in my opinion and I was quite happy to pull it out of a pack of Donruss this year.
- Speaking of 2018, this is the first '18 card that I've added to any of my PC's. Outside of Larry Fitzgerald, I don't have any PC's that are current players so the influx of new cards isn't heavy.
- 3 copies of this card on COMC, very tightly priced between $2.19 & $2.24. Another reason I was happy to get this from a pack.
- Scary: there are 13 cards/variations from Donruss available right now. Some nice looking cards, but it's a little overkill if you ask me.

- I'm curious to find out where Topps got the 8.2 WAR they show for Andrew in 2003. Baseball Reference shows his WAR at 7.9 and Fangraphs shows 8.1.
- Kind of curious to see why the range of prices on COMC for this card are so wide. Cheapest is 95 cents, the most expensive is $4. BTW, the $4 was reduced by 25% when I did the search, so the original price was $5.25. Crazy.

- Reminds me of the Pacific Revolution cards from the early 2000's. Only brighter.
- I liked the patches on the sleeve featuring the spring training location. I'm looking forward to hopefully catching a game or 2 during spring training this year. Even the mrs. is hoping to go once or twice.
- Seeing the parallels of this card on COMC definitely make me think Pacific. 4 different parallels, ranging from 62 cents to $14.99 (magenta out of 25). Yep, Pacific it is...

- I don't mind the crossover from the Bowman original card to the Topps Then & Now insert theme. I can't say that I've ever seen Andrew without any facial hair during his time with the Bucs.
- The card you see on the left? There are currently 21 copies on COMC right now, the cheapest at $4.70, and the highest priced card is $12.25. Quite the range.
- In awe: My McCutchen collection, 112 cards. Collecting Cutch's 1/1 of collection? 182 cards. Damn.

- I originally had thought of stopping my McCutchen collection at 100 cards. Didn't think of him as a long term PC. That has changed...
- Very depressing to hear the trade talk with him going to the Giants. It's bad enough one outfielder went on to greatness after leaving Pittsburgh for SF, please don't make it 2.
- Part of my recent Sportlots order, this card cost me just 18 cents. Doesn't get much better than that for a star player.

- Already the 24th card from 2016 in my McCutchen collection. Will probably end up with at least another page of cards by the time it's done.
- It will be interesting to see what happens with Cutch this year. Have recently started seeing Gerrit Cole rumors, and if the Pirates star pitcher is traded, can Cutch be far behind?
- Currently 8 copies of this card on COMC, cheapest at 82 cents, highest price is $1. That's a pretty tight range; usually that many copies of a single card has a wider variation.

- I guess people will be able to tell when I've hit a card show or ordered from COMC, as there usually ends up being quite a few consecutive cards of one of my smaller PC players. I still have a couple more Cutch cards to post.
- I must have missed a few games over the past couple of years; I don't remember seeing Andrew with a beard that looks like this. Ever.
- Career home run #110 was hit on 6/6/2014 against Kyle Lohse of the Milwaukee Brewers. It was a solo shot in the 3rd inning that would put the Bucs ahead 3-0 on their way to a 15-5 trouncing of the Crew. 7 different Pirates would have 2 hits or more that evening.

- Wasn't exactly sure if I had this card when I was at the card show a couple of weekends back. I had it in my mind that I did, but I figured for 20 cents, I'd take a chance. Need it!!
- OK, now I just need the blue, orange, metallic, green and gold parallels to go with it. Well, the metallic is SN out of 1, so that probably will not be happening.
- Bio on the back: "Topped circuit on OBP and OPS in 2014." OBP I can see because his average was over .300 then and he took a lot of walks, but OPS? Surprised that there wasn't a slugger out there that didn't fare better than him in OPS.

- Just above Andrew's name, the design of the card reminds me of a Band-Aid.
- The card number on the back was quite difficult to find for a moment. I'm so used to looking at the top of a card to find the number, in this case it was on the lower left corner above the Topps name.
- Quite a few copies of this card on COMC right now, 26 of them ranging in price from 40 cents to $1.25. Surprising that there's cards from this release as cheap as 40 cents...

- The refractor definitely scanned much better than the regular base card did. Love how the dots/holes in the background pop with a gold tinge to them.
- This is the final card of Andrew from my last COMC order, finally cleaning off my desk. This morning's base card was just 34 cents, while the refractor was very cheap (in my eyes) at just 40 cents.
- Another card added to the Trading Card Database. It amazes me sometimes just how many cards of star players haven't been added yet. The site is currently at 2.12 million cards added.

- The dots or holes or whatever those are in the background remind me of the punchboard game on the Price is Right.
- Drafted ahead of him: Justin Upton was drafted first overall in 2005, 10 spots ahead of Andrew. Justin was one of only 2 HS players drafted ahead of Andrew (the other being Cameron Maybin).
- Career homer #105 was hit 4/21/13 against Manny Parra of the Reds. It was a solo shot in the eighth inning that tied the game at 5-5; the Pirates would go on to win the game with another run in the bottom of the 9th off of J.J. Hoover.

- Part of the monthly card show, I paid a buck for this one. If there's any uniform I'd like to see less of, it's the road grays.
- Interesting that the back of the card only shows the previous 2 seasons worth of stats. The back also talks about how Lefty Gomez was the first and only pitcher to win the All-Star Game for a 3rd time. That was in 1937.
- Career homer # 104 was the first of the 2014 season for Andrew, hit on April 17th against Yovani Gallardo of the Brewers. It was a 2 run shot in the bottom of the 1st, hit after the Brewers scored 1 in the top of the inning. The Bucs would go on to throttle the Brewers 11-2, behind 7 strong innings from Edinson Volquez.

- Spotted this at last weekend's show in a dollar bin. Didn't think that the price was too outrageous, so it came home with me (as you can plainly see).
- I'm grateful that the serial # is easily visible on the front. Normally I have to use a magnifying glass to see serial #'s these days.
- One of the many cards in the Bowman Platinum rainbow, I still need the Black, Green, Ice and Orange parallel versions.
