- Love the look an Andrew's face here. It's almost as if he's saying "you called that a strike, really?"
- Unless a minor miracle happens in September, Andrew's run of 4 straight seasons of .400+ OBP is going to come to an end. He needs to gain 69 points over the last month of the year to get there.
- Finally figured out that I have the gold parallel version of this card, need to find the base version to go along with it.
- Pricey set, $40 for just 100 cards might be a bit steep for some, but I'm guessing that people bought packs to chase the relics and autos that were in there. The Trout and Darvish relic/auto cards are both listed for $250 each. White whale sighting!

Brett Lawrie card #13 2012 Bowman Platinum Next in Line NIL9
- This is the first of 2 straight Brett Lawrie insert cards. I really like the idea on this card, showing off some young and upcoming players. The "Toronto Blue Jays" on the card twice is kind of redundant though.
- Sadly, neither player who was to have a great future in Toronto is no longer with the club.
- Game #7 for Brett this year will be career game #500.
