Jim Thome card #14 1991 Bowman #68

• Went a little out of order on this one--after posting 13 straight cards from '92, this one wound up next in the binder.  Thome only has 6 '91 cards, only one of which is another major league release (Upper Deck Final Edition)
• Wondering if the jersey he is wearing is a batting practice jersey, as I don't ever recall seeing mesh jerseys being worn during games.
• Game 14 of Thome's career was the 2nd of a 5 consecutive game hitless streak.  He would go 0 for 17 during that run and see his average dip from .239 to .175.   Ouch.
