Jim Thome card #158 1998 Score #17


  • Simple design, classic Score.  Guessing that this photo was taken in April in Cleveland what with the long sleeves under the jersey.
  • Bio on the back:  "Jim, who belted 12 of Cleveland's 28 long balls in the month of June to help him earn his first All-Star game appearance, hit his 100th home run off of Bobby Witt on May 14."  12 out of 28 for a month?  Carried the team I would say...
  • Price check:   2 copies of this on COMC, both listed for 85 cents!!  Sportlots it is...

    Did you listen to the latest Wax Ecstatic podcast? He talked about 1992 Score and his random pull was Thome.
