- One copy of this card on COMC. Priced at $2.99, a bit much in my opinion.
- This is the normal version, there is a 2nd version featuring Andrew in the home whites. I don't have that card as of yet.
- It also appears that the knee "injury" he suffered on Friday was minor; I've read he could have played Saturday if needed. Keeping him off of that turf in Toronto is probably a good idea.

Andrew McCutchen card #42 2014 Topps Update '89 die cut mini #TM-AM
- I wish that Topps had chosen a unique photo to go along with this mini set, instead of reusing the shot that was used for the Heritage photo.
- It's been a while, but I was able to add this card to the Trading Card Database.
- This post for Andrew is #42, which matches the number of career triples he has coming into the 2017 season.
- I will be curious to see how things shape up in 2017 for Andrew, as he has a team option on his contract for 2018 at $14.5 M. Pirates don't normally like to give money away, but there's also a $1M buyout for 2018.

Brett Lawrie card #22 2012 Topps Allen & Ginter Mini #122
- Perfect timing: This card recently came my way courtesy of a trade with Colbey at the Cardboard Collections blog. Need it!! Thank you
- 2nd straight mini card of Lawrie to be featured. Again, perfect timing as the other mini was shown off last Thursday.
- I decided to see who Brett has had success facing so far in his career. I went with a minimum of 10 PAs, and he has a .500 average against both Mark Buehrle and Ricky Nolasco. Brett should have a few opportunities to face Nolasco this season now that Brett's in the AL Central.
