- Had a heckuva time scanning this card and keeping it somewhat straight. Then I realized that I could rotate the scan, so I placed the card upside down on the scanner bed. I scare myself sometimes...
- I have always loved these gold crown die cut cards. Can't say how many cards though over the years that I've nipped an edge and created a ding. Just have to be extra careful.
- 3 copies of this card on COMC, all at $1.49. Not bad. I need the emerald green parallel of this card; the 1 copy on COMC of the green is $9.25 and none are to be found on ebay right now.

- The orange streaks show a lot better on the scan than they do in hand. The spaces in between the light bursts are just that, spaces. Makes the card a bit lighter...
- Added this card to the Trading Card Database today. Doing my part to help Sakic collectors everywhere.
- I've started picking up some more Sakic's for my collection. I'm starting to run out of regular base cards to buy and am more into the higher end base cards as well as the cheaper inserts/parallels. Things are about to get a bit more expensive, but I'm enjoying the hunt and I hope to eventually hit 1000 Sakic cards for my PC someday.
