- Flip it over: similar to other "Canadian" versions of cards back in the early 90's, the only difference is the French bio on the back. Everything else is the same.
- I must be missing it: Looked in the Beckett magazine to see what this set lists for, and it's not there. I must be blind.
- Unless I find/buy something in the very near future, this is the end of the 93-94 cards I have for Joe. The 94-95 cards I have on hand will take me well past the 100 card point of the Sakic collection, and there are some very nice cards in there in my humble opinion. Hope you're enjoying these!

Joe Sakic card #85 1993-94 Pinnacle Canadian #290
Joe Sakic card #84 1993-94 Pinnacle #290
- Bio on the back: "Joe earned a place among the NHL's elite by recording three 100-point seasons prior to his 24th birthday". Unfortunately the card doesn't go into detail as to who the other players who did this were...
- Is that a bit of a black eye under Joe's left eye? Because of this I decided to look up how many fights Joe had during his career. Thanks to hockeyfights.com, I found out that Joe had just 2. The opponents? Doug Gilmour and Gary Leeman.
- In the background, there appears to be 4 empty seats in the front row. In hockey mad Quebec? Can't be. If it were Toronto, I would have said that this photo was taken at the beginning of a period, because the people in those seats at the ACC would still be at the lounge drinking a beer.

Joe Sakic card #73 1993-94 Pinnacle All Star #13
- A rare evening post as I am doing this one live. A busy weekend left little time to get ahead on the blog. Watching the Penguins win the Cup last night also pushed blogging aside...
- This is the 3rd of 4 All Star cards featuring the 92-93 game in Montreal. Overkill? You betcha.
- Joe's career goal #73 came in a 4-4 tie (remember those?) against the Hartford Whalers on 11/21/90. The victim that night was Peter Sidorkiewicz.
- I'm going to have to start doing more mini marathons, because this page of 9 cards seemed to take forever to finish. I guess that's what happens when you have 5 PCs to post cards for!

Joe Sakic card #72 1993-94 Pinnacle Canadian All-Stars #13
- The only way you can tell the difference between the Canadian and the regular versions of this card? The picture on the front. There is no French bio or anything different on the back that will identify the card.
- Joe went to the world championships after the 93-94 season, and played 8 games scoring 4 goals and 7 points helping Canada to win a gold medal. The tournament was played in Italy that year...
- Career goal #72 came at home against the Flyers on 11/10/90 in a 5-2 loss. Joe also assisted on Quebec's only other goal, which was scored by Craig Wolanin.

Joe Sakic card #57 1994-95 Pinnacle Northern Lighs #NL4
- I love the look of this card. The visage of the wilderness on the left representing the Northern Lights, the foil with the Pinnacle logo and Joe's name. The photo of Joe I'm guessing is him heading on the ice for pregame warmups.
- I actually skipped ahead a year, as I have this card on the same page as some 1993-94 cards of Joe.
- May 3rd, 1996. Joe was on a day off after losing to the BlackHawks in game one of the conference semi-final, 3-2 in OT. Joe had a goal in game 1, and scored 6 goals in a game 6 victory in that round.
