- I was hoping that this card might scan a little better than this. Oh well, what can you do?
- A sunny early spring day would be my guess as to when the photo was taken. Eye black with the long sleeves is the reason why.
- Career home run #38 was hit on 5/31/1995 against Jim Abbott of the White Sox. Thome hit a homer in each of the 3 games against the White Sox, which the Indians would sweep.
