• Love the eye black, wish more cards featured this feature.  Several of Thome's upcoming cards on the blog feature Jim wearing eye black.
• '93 Score really was a no frills set, wasn't it?  At a buck a pack, it makes sense.  
• Jim started his '93 season off with a bang on August 13th, hitting a HR off of Texas' Craig Lefferts.  
• 1993 would also be the last year that Thome spent any time in the minors.   He hit .332/25/102 in 115 games in Charlotte, prompting the call up in mid-August.
